But it is not a suitable solution for all acne sufferer because treatment effect varies from person to person. Acne home remedies are one of the better treatment solutions as even if they are not effective they wont worsen your acne. if you think you can be rid of your acne over night then you are mistaken. There are many home remedies for acne which not only relieves your skin to acne but makes them healthier so that it becomes glowing and shiny. Most acne treatments take a lot of time to be effective as acne is a complex problem. The following are some fast home remedies? which will give you results within weeks or even in days depending upon your skin condition.

Ice:
Acne that is inflamed and red can be tamed with ice, which should be applied to inflamed areas right before bedtime. While this will not entirely get rid of your acne, it can reduce swelling and make it appear less noticeable.

Toothpaste:
Tooth paste also works in a same way, it should be applied before bed time and be washed early in the morning, you will notice less swelling and redness.

Honey and Cinnamon:
Honey and Cinnamon pastes are widely used for getting rid of acne.

Salt Water:
Warm salt water can also be used to wash your face each day, since it will get rid of oil and dirt, but won’t irritate any existing acne you may have. You can follow your saltwater treatment with a splash of cold water on your face, along with an oil-free moisturizer if you have dry skin.

Watermelon:
Watermelon pulp, strawberry juice, and even smashed up papaya works great on acne, and can have your skin looking amazing after only a few days of use.

Aloe Vera:
Aloe Vera is considered as the top alternative to over the counter acne medications. It is a most popular home remedy for acne. Aloe Vera can be applied in liquid form to the facial area, it will remove excess oil and heal your acne. Mixing in freshly ground orange peel can make it even more effective.

Vinegar:
Vinegar can also be effective against acne. Dampen a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar and apply it to your pimples, leaving it on overnight. It also balances skin pH.

Lemon:
Squeeze the juice out of fresh lemons or limes. Apply the juice directly on your acne scars using a cotton ball. Let your skin soak up the lemon juice for a while before washing it off with water.

Sandalwood:
Mix sandalwood with a few drops of rosewater to make a paste. The sandalwood and rosewater paste can be used as a facial mask and can be directly applied on the scarred area. Leave the paste on for more than an hour.

Mint:
Take a few mint leaves and crush them. Tie these crushed leaves in piece of muslin cloth and extract juice. Use it all over your face. It's a very good home remedy for acne scars.There are tons of other home remedies for acne. You can make different masks with the help of fruits and vegetables. Olive oil, sunflower oil and rosehip oil is very effective for acne cure.
