Mango acne Acne is a skin condition caused by several reasons including hormonal shifts in the body, unhealthy diet, and changes in the environment as well as mental stress. It is one of the most common medical conditions that a majority of people suffer from. There is no particular age group for acne sufferers therefore adolescents being the only victims of acne is merely a myth. According to dermatologists and well known health experts the best way to get rid of acne is not to cure the condition but to avoid it as much as possible.
This can only occur when an individual improves hygiene, basic diet and overall routine. It is also crucial to take care of one’s health where constant skin care is a prerequisite to nourished and glowing skin.
A good diet translates into food that does not add excessive calories and trans- fat into the body as well as induce harmful outcomes for the skin and the body as a whole. Eating vegetables and fruits is never said to be detrimental to health for a reason. It contains the necessary vitamins, which is exactly what the body requires. Mango in particular is rich in vitamin C, the nutrients that are not just stored but used up for healing purposes. Mango can be eaten in the organic form, or mango juice that does not have synthetic ingredients can be consumed daily to improve acne.
Skin care products that contain vitamin C from mango can also be applied but the products should favorably be oil free. This helps prevent the skin pores to become unclogged regulating the oil and bacteria which generally causes acne. One homemade remedy that can prove useful includes peeling a mango and slicing it into smaller amounts, after this one eighth of the amount should be blended with one tablespoon of Epsom salts, two teaspoons of thyme and one tea spoon of sage leaves, The mixture should be mixed thoroughly and blended into a smooth paste. The treatment should then be applied as a scrub in ample amounts directly onto the skin. The mixture should be washed off with lukewarm to warm water. The treatment works best when the mixture is used regularly every week.
In cases where acne is severe or the condition is getting worse. It is recommended to consult a dermatologist for the relevant queries.
