Normally primary symptoms appear periodically and patient seems less concerned about it but it happens for longer time period and every time when redness comes again it is more worse or more irritating. In primary symptoms red lines start to be visible on the face which is called telangiectasis due to broken blood vessels. As the conditions starts worsening, more pustules and pimples appear and they are coupled with stinging and burning sensation.
More symptoms include dryness of skin, more red patches, and facial skin becoming rough. As this disease spread it starts appearing on neck, scalp, chest and ears. In more severe cases rosacea affects eyes as well. Eyes starts burning, tearing, color changes to pink, dryness and swelling in the eyelid.
The symptoms worsen if patient take spicy food, alcohol and go out in sun without using sunblock. Any non comedogenic make up products also aggravates condition.
