IGY Life Sciences has recently developed a patented process to curing acne effectively and safely. The process involves extracting immunoglobulin antibodies from immunized chicken egg and then returning the egg to a food source. The antibodies found on the immunized egg are used to kill bacteria residing on the skin. The antibody is aimed to be injected in skin care applications to cure acne.

This process has been accepted and verified by international scientific bodies and is considered as a safe alternative. Surprisingly, it has been used in various human and veterinary medicine fields for treating bacterial infections.
The process starts when the hen is given a dose of government approved vaccine. This creates the necessary antibodies in the eggs as the hen builds up extra antibodies in response to the vaccine. The antibodies are then passed to the eggs and are finally extracted for use in skin care formulations.

Typical acne treatments kill both the good and the bad bacteria on skin, thus leaving the skin more vulnerable and weak to fight off on coming infections. These treatments also leave the skin dry and dull along with being incapable of fighting future acne outbreaks, which gets more severe as even the body’s own infection fighting bacteria is eradicated. IGY Life Sciences’s breakthrough process will specifically remove only those bacterial infections that create acne, thus leaving the rest unharmed.

The ImmunoDerm  Y is meant to target a chosen bacteria and control as well as prevent acne outbursts of all types. This treatment is a much better alternative than the rest as it is target oriented and does not cause severe side effects.
There have been clinical trials to verify the effectiveness of this anti-body. There are a number of patents on the process and that can be applied for testing on any bacteria. This process will not only treat acne, but any other skin disease that are caused by bacteria or viral infections.

IGY Technologies is also claiming to treat plantar wart (Verruca Plantaris) which is a wart formed by human papillomavirus. The antibody will isolate the viral strain and identify it. A vaccine would be used (again from extraction of egg yolk) to attack the wart and eradicate it.

The one minor problem of this process is that of low concentration bodies mixing with residual egg fat, which slightly hampers the process. More studies and trials are on way to find an optimal solution to this and very soon this new technology will bring in a higher concentration of the needed antibody.

For teenagers, prom night is one of the most important and memorable moment of their lives, therefore looking good is crucial. From getting the right dress, the right makeup to working on the ideal hairdos it is all about looking great and why not. But during that time a pimple right on the nose or the face can be a nightmare. Here are some well known remedies that can abate the skin problem.
Pimples fall under the category of acne skin condition that develops when the sebaceous glands start to produce a large amount of oil that clogs up the skin pores. This causes bacteria to spread within the pores leading to acne. The list of treatments for acne are numerous however it is favorable to consult a skin specialist or a dermatologist before undergoing any kind of treatment, since acne condition varies from person to person and the effectiveness of the treatment depends on the type and severity of the condition itself.

Some useful tips to get rid of pimples before the big night includes; the use of steroid injections that are useful in the case of acne cysts, the injections abate the condition within a period of two days. According to the Mayo Clinic the pimple is directly injected with steroids that flatten the affected area removing the pimples immediately. For isolated marks the injections are effective however it is not a treatment recommended for widespread acne since the use of the injection carries some side effects including hypopigmentation and thinning of the skin surface. Heat based devices can also be used for getting quick results for pimple removal. The two FDA approved treatments include Zeno and Thermaclear that work by using heat within the skin surface getting rid of the problem at its root. Thermaclear works at a higher temperature therefore it is applied for 2 seconds on every pimple. Zeno on the other hand needs to be applied for 2 minutes and then at least 4 times more for the treatment to show best results.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, popping, squeezing or touching of the pimples should be completely avoided since makes the condition worse and causes the acne to spread. The oil or sebum basically gets pushed in deeper making it more difficult to treat. Popping pimples can also lead to permanent scarring. Over the counter medication with a cleanser can be used instead that have shown impressive result. Benzoyl peroxide in gel or cream with a concentration of 5% should be applied directly onto the pimples. The treatment works well when it is applied on a regular basis.

In case the acne condition gets worse, it is advisable to go to a dermatologist who can evaluate the problem and give quick diagnosis for the condition based on the type of acne condition a person is suffering from and the extent of its severity.
