Acne Rosacea Treatment
Acne rosacea is a case of severe form of acne that usually affects the face, though that is not the only part of the body that they may affect, the neck, back and chest can also be affected by it and in some unusual cases the eyes can also suffer the brunt of rosacea. The eyes can also be affected with this form of acne. The symptoms include flushing, thread veins and a pimply rash, which can often be accompanied by swelling of the affected area.
Acne rosacea makes the complexion a worn, ruddy appearance, and it usually occurs when a person has crossed his thirties. There are millions of cases worldwide reported every year. This condition can be both uncomfortable and embarrassing for sufferers. Acne rosacea causes damage to the self confidence as the person is not just affected physically but mentally as well. This condition also flares up because of certain diet habits and can be controlled by changing it.
Studies suggest that there is no specific treatment for acne rosacea. So in the cases of rosacea the same treatments are used as in the cases of acne and they vary with respect to the severity of the conditions.
These treatments could be from over the counter medication, to prescribed medication, to topical creams made from natural products. In the very severe cases laser treatment is suggested but it is usually very costly and is used as the last resort.
It should be noted that before starting any treatment an examination from your dermatologist or practitioner of any other alternative medicine that you choose should be done for the better results of the treatment.
