Some Suggestions to Avoid Acne

Every disease and disorder is a result of the internal or external stimuli such as bacteria, viruses, fluctuations in chemical reactions taking place in our body. Acne is the similar case. Following are some tips and suggestions to prevent you from getting pray of acne.


  • Wash your face twice a day and do not exceed more than two times.
  • Use a natural moisturizer. Be careful about choosing a moisturizer. Notice the nature of your skin. If your skin is oily, use a moisturizer that contains no oil. If your skin is dry, use moisturizers that contain natural oils.
  • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight
  • Have a bath once a day
  • See the mirror twice a day so that you can feel any difference on your face
  • Eat balanced diet
  • Avoid smoking
  • Avoid coffee
  • If any drug you are taking, ask your doctor if it can produce acne.
  • Eat fruits and vegetables instead of processed foods
  • Apply the juices of vegetables and fruits on your face once a day
  • Be happy
  • Avoid stress and depression
  • Wear cotton dress that absorbs sweat from your body
  • Avoid harsh cosmetics and acne treatment medications as they aggravate the symptoms.
  • Do not squeeze pimples, papules and pustules as squeezing them will further aggravate the symptoms and reaction may spread up to deep skin layers called dermis and lipid layers or fat layers.
  • Always wash with lukewarm water specially if you have dry skin
  • If the problem persists even after preventive measures, do consult your doctor. But it would be better to consult initially.
